YACC group had their first CIA (Christians in Action) activity on Saturday 4 February, which achieved its goal of Christian visibility. A few of the YACC'ers met at the church and then proceeded to clean up the residential block surrounding the church of papers, rubbish etc.

A number of pedestrians and people in cars stopped and asked what they were doing, and commended them for what they were doing.

CIA is not a once-off "thing" and there will be many more. We invite the whole church to get involved and support in any way they feel called to.

THE JUSTICE JAR :

An exciting initiative by one of our Youth members!

The Justice Jar is a project that aims to raise money in order to help the poor and silence injustice in our local community.

Money is raised by people collecting change in a plastic jar called the Justice Jar.  Once the jar has been filled, it is then returned to the Justice Jar team.  All the money that is used to uplift those

in need.

YOU can be a part of this project by requesting a JUSTICE JAR from the team and then after having

received it, fill it with your spare change and return it to the team once it is full.  By doing this you

will enable the team to bring about justice in people's lives in various different ways.

OVER R30000 HAS ALREADY BEEN RAISED!  Thanks to all our contributors.....

FOR MORE INFORMATION, please contact:  Sandra du Toit, 084 558 7914  or e mail:
