    Fellowship:

    • Garden Ministry

    Various folk work in the garden assisting the part time gardener during the week and on a Saturday morning. Their aim is to create and maintain a haven in which fellow christians can relax, meditate, worship - a place to meet God.

    • Men's Fellowship

    The men usually meet from time to time, usually at a breakfast meeting, and a speaker is invited to address them on a specific subject.

     

    • Women's Fellowship

    The ladies meet on a Wednesday morning from 9 - 10 for praise and teaching, followed by tea and fellowship in the hall until 11.

     

    • Hospitality Ministry

    The ladies who belong to this ministry are always available to assist with refreshments for funeral and other church functions. Eats are provided by volunteers for these occasions.

     

    • Trust Properties and Maintenance

    A Finance team meets regularly in order to maintain good financial governance. Maintenance work on the property is carried out on a weekly basis.

     

    • New  Mothers Ministry

    Visits are made to new mothers, advising and caring where needed by providing christian love and support.

     

    • Single Parents Ministry (Currently on hold).

    • Family Fellowship Ministry (Currently on hold).

    Discipleship:

    • Disciple Course

    Adult Christian Education. 3 Disciple courses are currently available for prospective candidates. Each course lasts 32 weeks, and is held once a week at Trinity United Church.

    • Emmaus and Chrysalis

    They are weekend retreat experiences for those who would like to deepen their experience of God's love. The aim is to inspire, challenge and equip members for christian action in their homes, church and places of work.

    • Small Groups Ministry

    Numerous home group experiences  are provided for just about every need, time, age group and level of understanding. There are day time and evening groups. These groups provide a  haven for fellowship as well as scriptural development.

    • Network Course

    This course is run twice a year on average, and is developed to assist members to find their spiritual gifts, and thus be placed in a ministry within Trinity.

    Worship:

    • Prayer Net Ministry

    This ministry uses intercessory prayer to pray for those who are in need, (ill-health, unemployment, trauma etc.) upholding them in prayer while being at home or at the office.    

    • Wholeness/Healing Ministry

    This ministry meets on a Thursday evening, and members needing prayer are welcome to come to the chapel. Prayers are held for all those in need.     

    • Worship Support Ministry

    Support groups who do the background and support functions of services as listed;

              f.    Banner and Decor Ministry

    • Shepherding Ministry

    This ministry follows up with Christian love all matters raised through the Friendship Cards. Follows up on absent members

    Evangelism:

    • Prison Ministry

    To bring God into the lives of the inmates of a particular prison by means of the Kairos (Emmaus) Ministry. 

    • Alpha

    Alpha courses are run on an annual basis at Trinity. This is a course aimed at introducing people to the Christian faith. The 26th Alpha was held in July 2009. Teams are always needed to arrange, run and facilitate Alpha.     

    • New Member's Ministry

    The aim is to introduce Trinity United Church to new members by setting up and running an orientation Course on the various ministries, functions and operations of the church.

    • Baptism Ministry

    Baptism services are held four times a year at a special 11am Sunday services. Baptisms are not limited to members only.

    Mission:

    • Samaritan Project

    On average, 80 folk are fed three times a week with a meal of beans,  polony and refreshment/soup. Parcels are also made up and distributed on a weekly basis to the needy within our community. Volunteers assist with this project.      

    • SAMVIM

    South African Methodist Volunteering in Mission. The   physical involvement of building churches alongside other SA Communities with overseas teams.

    Sunday School (from age 5) meets on a Sunday at 09:30AM 

    "SOMETHING FRESH" Youth Group Sunday Service from 09:30 on Sunday. 

    Y.A.C.C. (Young Adults College and Career Group) Tuesday Nights 7:00 for 7.30PM
