Trinity United is a Methodist Church though many of our members come from other Christian denominations. Our congregation consists of more than 420 families representing the various age and population groups of our community. We are not perfect-God is still working in us-but we believe the Gospel of a God who loves people and who saves them by Jesus Christ. We take the Bible seriously and are a Bible-based church.
God's love extends to all people - therefore our doors are open to all, especially those who feel unworthy. We set no pre-conditions for people wanting to join the church. We are at the disposal of all who need a church for any reason-baptisms, weddings, funerals, etc.- no strings attached.
Jesus came to serve, not to be served - therefore we have a passion for serving people - individuals and the community - as seen in our activities and in our budget. We do not exist for ourselves.
Our Risen Lord breathed the Holy Spirit into His followers and sent them out in mission - Therefore we believe that He has given us the Holy Spirit, who is our guide and inspiration in the work of mission.
Jesus is the Light of the world. He calls us to let our light shine in a world where there is darkness - therefore we help the poor and needy, whatever their need. We stand for Christian values without being judgmental. We care for people simply because they are people whom God created and whom He loves. We offer to our town and nation the healing that Christ has begun to do in us.
Jesus wants to draw us ever closer to Him - therefore we have active programs of Christian education for all ages, so that we may grow in the faith that we have been given. We care for youth on Sundays and with weekend activities.
Jesus calls people into fellowship with himself and each other therefore we enjoy many kinds of fellowship functions in His name, which serve also those who otherwise are lonely. We meet in cell and home groups.
